Class Info

Jazz - Fun, upbeat style of dance.  The basics stem from ballet and combined with the current stylish moves makes this our most popular class.  Energetic popular music is used for this class.

Tap - Style of dance using special shoes to create different rhythms and sounds.  Great for developing coordination skills.

Ballet - Classical form of dance.  A Strong technical base for all other dance forms.  Barre, Center floor, and progressions (movements across the floor) are used in developing ballet technique.

Kinderdance - A combination class of tap and ballet for our youngest dancers.  This gives our tiny dancers and introduction to the world of dance.

Lyrical - This is an expressive form of dance combining ballet technique and jazz.  This style of dance tells a story through movement.

Tumbling - Tumbling includes back bends, cartwheels, handstands, front and back walkovers, front and back handsprings, back tucks, aerials, and more depending on level.

Tumble Bears I&II - Tumble Bears is for our beginning gymnast.  This class will include forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and more depending on level.

Cheerleading - Cheerleading will focus on jumps, stunts, cheers and chants.  The class will also work on tumbling, splits, flexibility, and balance.

Baton Twirling - Fun and exciting combination of the technique of baton twirling and jazz dance.

Pointe - For the more advanced ballet dancer.  This form of dance enables the dancer to perform on the top of their toes.

Private Lessons - One on one instruction in preparing students for upcoming pageants, com-petitions, etc. or just to perfect technique.  This class has an additional fee.

Hip-Hop - Fun and energetic freestyle dance form that can be seen on music videos.  Relaxed atmosphere and dress code.  You must be enrolled in at least one other class in order to take this one.  This class has an additional fee of $15.00/month.

Stretch, Flex & Technique Class - The Stretch, Flex & Technique Class will not do a routine in the recital. This class will focus on stretching and improving flexibility to better improve dance styles. Students will also work on proper dance techniques in the areas of leaps, turns, kicks, etc.
