Marcie is a native of Seneca, SC and is a graduate of Seneca High School and Clemson University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a Minor in Marketing. She has studied dance since the age of 3 and has been teaching dance professionally for the past 21 years.

She has trained under some of the finest instructors from New York, California, Ohio, Delaware, Florida, and Texas and has studied under one of the original "Rockettes" and a former Solid Gold Dancer.

Marcie has been invited numerous times to compete in the North American and World Tap Dancing Championships and she continues to study dance from instructors across the country in order to provide her students with the utmost in professional dance education.

Marcie Cope, Husband Eric and son CarterMarcie has been recognized regionally and nationally for her choreography and has led her teams to win numerous highest over-all awards, thousands of dollars is cash prizes and the Most Entertaining routine award for the dance magazine "Dance Spirit."

She has choreographed the Miss South Carolina Teen and the live telecast of the Miss South Carolina Pageant numerous times for CBS, which was viewed by over 4.5 million people.
She competed in the 1993 and 1996 Miss South Carolina Pageants as Miss Oconee and Miss Golden Corner.

Marcie also supports Breast Cancer Awareness by giving a credit of $20.00 towards tuition for the parents that bring in a mammogram receipt.

 In addition, Marcie has worked with Dixie Carter from the TV series - Designing Women and was named as 1 out of 100 top women in America by Eckerd Drug stores in 1999.

Marcie is the Coach of Clemson University's "Tiger Dancers" and was awarded the National title of  "Marjorie Perry Spirit of Dance Award" by Dance Maker's, Inc.
