Studio Information & Policies

•Registration Fee - There is a ONE TIME annual registration fee of $25.00 required per child, with the registration form, in order to reserve class space.  UTDS does not make you register again in January and pay another fee. There is just the ONE TIME annual registration fee.  A registration is not considered complete, class space is not reserved, and your child is not enrolled until this fee is paid.  This fee is non-refundable.

•Dress Code - Students are required to wear appropriate dance attire to each class (leotards, tights, unitards, dance pants, dance shoes, etc.).  Students not dressed appropriately will observe class.  Also, hair must always be pulled away from face - bun, ponytail, etc.  Absolutely no hair down or in face! If you are enrolled in a Cheerleading or Twirling class, you will also have to purchase a pair of pompoms or a baton.  Listed below are the required items for each class:

*All Kinderdance and Sec. Tap & Ballet Classes - Black flat tap shoes(preferably with Velcro buckle or a tie tap button), Pink ballet shoes, appropriate leotard or dance attire
*Int. Tap & Ballet(combination class) - Black flat, split sole tap shoes, Pink ballet shoes, appropriate leotard or dance attire
*Pointe Classes - Pink ballet shoes and Pink Pointe shoes, appropriate leotard or dance attire
*Int./Adv. Tap Classes - Black flat, split sole tap shoes, appropriate leotard or dance attire
*Jazz & Lyrical Classes - Tan slide-on jazz shoes, appropriate leotard or dance attire
*Cheerleading Classes - White cheer shoes and poms(exact kind will be specified at a later date)
*Tumbling Classes - NO shoes, socks, or tights
*Baton Twirling Classes - Tan slide-on jazz shoes and a baton (I will order)

•Tuition - Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.  If you are absent or even if the studio is closed, tuition is still due by the 10th of the month.  You may mail the tuition to the studio to avoid the late fee.  Tuition remains the same whether it is a  long (5 week) or short(3 week) month and regardless of absences. We do not send bills.  Tuition is your responsibility.  If accounts are not paid in full by recital time, the student will not be allowed to participate in the recital.  Those students who have paid on time all year (monthly payments not entire year payment upfront) will receive a gift certificate for one free month for one class (valued at $38.00) for the next dance year (excluding summer classes).  We offer a discount on the second, third, fourth, and fifth class taken.  Tuition prices are as follows:

One class per week $38.00/month
Two classes per week $60.00/month(20% discount included)
Three classes per week $85.00/month(25% discount included)
Four classes per week $106.00/month(30% discount included)
Five or more classes per week $133.00/month(30% discount included)
Hip Hop Classes Additional $15.00/month
(unless you are enrolled in five or more classes)

*For tax purposes, all tuition through December 2009 must be paid by November 30, 2009.  All accounts must be paid up to date in order to remain registered as a student at UTDS.*
*Pay for the entire year up front and receive a 5% discount*

•Late Fee - A $5.00 late fee will automatically be added to your tuition if we have not received your payment by the 10th of each month.  If your payment is late, please add the $5.00 late fee to your payment.  The $5.00 will be added to your bill.  If your tuition payments are delinquent by two months, your child will not be allowed to participate in class.  Furthermore, if there are any delinquent payments at the end of the season (tuition, late fees, costume balance, etc.) your child will not be allowed to participate in the recital.

•Return Checks - There is a $25.00 service charge on all return checks.

•Recital Costumes - The climax of the dance year is our exciting and glamorous performance held at West-Oak High School. UTDS will have its 18th annual recital in mid May 2010.   Costumes are an important part of our recital and dancers of all ages look forward to receiving them.  For the recital, each class will wear a costume that I have picked out.  The costumes range in price from $30.00-$75.00. A $30.00 non-refundable deposit for your child's  costume  will  be  due  September 21-24.  The $30.00 deposit must be paid for each child and/or each class that they are enrolled in.  The remaining amount of the costume balance will be due November 16-19.  If you are a student at Unlimited Talent, you are required to purchase a costume and participate in the recital.

•Recital Fee -  There is a recital fee per student or per family.  The recital fee takes the place of having to purchase tickets for the recital.  The recital fee is $25.00 for one child taking classes and $30.00 for two or more children taking classes.  This is $30.00 per family, not $30.00 per child.  All family members and/or friends are admitted free to both nights of the recital!  Everyone is welcome!  No tickets to buy!  The recital fee is to help defray the expense of the rental of the auditorium and the associated cost of the recital.  The recital fee will be due March 8-11.  All students must pay this fee in order to participate in the recital.

•Awards - Every child will receive an award at the end of the year for their participation!

•Christmas Parade - Every year, Unlimited Talent participates in the annual Seneca Christmas Parade. This year it will be held on Sunday, December 9.  Participation in the parade is optional.  However, if you do plan on participating in the Christmas Parade, it is mandatory that you purchase the matching outfits that we will wear.  Remember, the parade is optional.  The expense of the outfits for the parade will cost between $15.00-$30.00 and will be due October 12-15.  If your money is not turned in by this week, your child will not be allowed to participate in the parade.

•Attendance - Attendance is taken at each class.  If your child misses a class, please check with instructors to see if there is a class available for make-up.  However, classes cannot be made up after December because of recital routines being taught in each class.  Please do not subtract any missed classes from your monthly payment.  The monthly payment is a flat fee whether your child has been present to all classes that month or just one class.

•Holidays & Snow - Unlimited Talent will operate according to the Oconee County School District.  If the Oconee County schools are closed due to bad weather, holidays, teacher in-service days, etc., then Unlimited Talent will be closed as well.  The exact dates will be given out closer to these holidays.

•Class Observation & Viewing Door - Observing your child's class is prohibited due to safety concerns and because of the extreme distraction it causes to many of the students.  Our #1 priority is your child and we strive to give them the best atmosphere in which to learn, with the fewest distractions.  However, the studio is equipped with a glass door and blinds.  The blinds will be open in order for you to observe your child's class the following weeks:  November 9-12 and March 15-18.

•Registration Information -  Early registration is crucial due to the fact that every year, we have a waiting list of over 150 students who were unable to enroll due to classes being full.  Registration will be held at Unlimited Talent on the following days and times:
